These Terms and Conditions apply to all driving lessons and services provided by My Time To Drive. By booking lessons or using our website, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility for Lessons

To take driving lessons with us, you must:

  • Hold a valid UK provisional driving licence (or full licence if refresher lessons)

  • Meet the legal eyesight requirements

  • Not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that impairs driving

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a lesson if safety is compromised.

 

3. Lesson Bookings

  • Lessons must be booked in advance

  • Lesson durations are charged in hourly units unless stated otherwise

  • Lesson times and instructors are subject to availability

  • Block bookings must be used within a reasonable time period (normally within 6–12 months)

 

4. Payments

  • Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed

  • We accept payment via bank transfer / cash / card 

  • Block bookings must be paid in full before lessons commence

  • Prices are correct at the time of booking and may be updated with notice

 

5. Cancellations and Missed Lessons

  • We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson

  • Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full

  • Missed lessons without notice are non-refundable

  • We reserve the right to cancel lessons due to instructor illness, vehicle issues, or adverse weather — in these cases, lessons will be rearranged

 

6. Refunds

  • Refunds for unused lessons may be considered at our discretion

  • No refunds are given for lessons already taken

  • Gift vouchers and discounted block bookings are non-refundable 

  • Statutory consumer rights are not affected

 

7. Driving Tests

  • Use of our vehicle for a driving test must be agreed in advance

  • The instructor reserves the right to refuse test use if:

    • The pupil is not test-ready

    • Safety concerns exist

    • The vehicle is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control

 

8. Punctuality

  • Lessons begin and end at the agreed time

  • Late arrival by the pupil may result in a shorter lesson

  • Instructors will make reasonable efforts to notify you if running late

 

9. Behaviour and Conduct

We expect pupils to:

  • Act respectfully towards instructors

  • Follow reasonable instructions for safety

  • Not behave in an abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate manner

We reserve the right to terminate lessons without refund if unacceptable behaviour occurs.

 

10. Vehicle Use

  • Lessons are conducted in a dual-controlled vehicle

  • Pupils must follow instructor guidance at all times

  • Any damage caused through negligence may be the pupil’s responsibility

 

11. Instructor Changes

  • We may change your instructor where necessary due to availability or operational reasons

  • We will aim to minimise disruption and provide continuity of learning

 

12. Website Use

  • Website content is provided for general information only

  • We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or error-free

  • You must not misuse the website or attempt unauthorised access

 

13. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for losses beyond our reasonable control

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected

 

14. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

 

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

 

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
