My Time To Drive

Last updated: January 1st 2026

Our Commitment to Accessibility

My Time To Drive is committed to ensuring that our services, information, and website are accessible to as many people as possible. We aim to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive experience for all learners, including those with disabilities, additional needs, or learning differences.

We recognise our responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010 and are committed to making reasonable adjustments where possible.

Website Accessibility

We aim to make our website accessible and easy to use for everyone. This includes people who may use assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice recognition software, or alternative input devices.

We aim to:

  • Use clear, simple language

  • Structure content logically with headings

  • Ensure text is readable and resizable

  • Use sufficient colour contrast where possible

  • Make links and buttons clear and descriptive

Our goal is to work towards compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, where reasonably practicable for a small business.

Driving Lessons and Learning Support

We understand that every learner is different. We are happy to discuss individual needs before lessons begin and will make reasonable adjustments where possible, including:

  • Supporting learners with anxiety or confidence issues

  • Adjusting lesson pace and teaching style

  • Allowing additional explanation or repetition

  • Supporting learners with Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, or other learning differences

  • Providing clear lesson objectives and structure

Please note that the DVSA sets the standards for driving tests, and while we can support preparation, we cannot change test requirements.

Vehicles and Physical Accessibility

Our lessons are offered in modern vehicles, including automatic cars, which may be more suitable for some learners.

If you have mobility needs or concerns about vehicle access, please contact us in advance so we can discuss whether we are able to meet your requirements or advise on suitable alternatives.

Communication and Contact Preferences

We aim to communicate in ways that work best for you. This may include:

  • Text or email communication instead of phone calls

  • Clear written instructions and confirmations

  • Allowing extra time to process information

Please let us know your preferred method of communication.

Feedback and Ongoing Improvement

We are continually looking to improve accessibility across our services.

If you:

  • Experience difficulty accessing our website

  • Have suggestions for improving accessibility

  • Require information in a different format

Please contact us and we will do our best to help.
